Nicknamed the “Leisure Roost”, this studio features a fully equipped modern kitchen and a comfortable dining room where you can gather around a good meal with your loved ones.
Le Grand Héron also comprises a bathroom with shower and bath, a spacious room with a king bed, and a living room with a sofa bed that can sleep two.

The common areas include leisure spaces and amenities guaranteed to please all sizes and ages … even your pets! A communal laundry room is provided for our guests.
Our guests also have access to charging stations for electric vehicles, as well as secure individual outdoor storage spaces. No need to haul your skis or bikes in and out!
The Great blue Heron
The great blue heron – or grand héron, in French – is a majestic bird that can stand up to 1 metre high. Its long pointy beak is ideal for fishing in the region’s lakes and streams.
Like the heron, our studio is sophisticated, yet unpretentious. Likewise, the tranquility and serenity of our setting is comparable to the elegance of the great blue heron.
Presence in the region
A favoured visitor in the Eastern Townships, the great blue heron can be observed in Mt. Orford Park, in Magog and Stratford and in the Lake Mégantic marsh.
Its presence enhances the beauty of the region’s natural spaces and lures nature enthusiasts who seek calm and serenity. The Eastern Townships is one of the rare places in Quebec where you can admire the beauty of the great blue heron in the wild.
